Livu Terms of Service
This is the agreement between you and Livu, the live video chat app for meeting people around the world. We wrote it to be read, not skimmed in a panic — if any clause is unclear, email us at support[at]livu.cc before you guess.
The one-paragraph version (it does not replace the full text): you must be an adult, you treat the person on the other side of the camera like a person, free matches are a limited allowance while coins keep conversations going, and Livu introduces you to people — it does not vouch for them.
1. The Agreement in Plain Words
By opening Livu, creating an account, or starting a match, you accept these Terms of Service together with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. If you do not accept them, the honest answer is simple: please do not use the app. Continuing to use Livu after we update these terms means you accept the updated version.
These terms cover everything Livu offers: random video matching, one-to-one calls, text chat, profile features, coins, VIP benefits, and the support and safety tools around them.
2. Who Can Use Livu
Livu is strictly for adults. You must be at least 18 years old — or older where your local law sets a higher bar — to create an account or appear on camera. If we have reason to believe an account belongs to a minor, we will suspend it while we check and remove it if confirmed.
Your account is yours. Do not share it, sell it, lend it, or let anyone else use it, and keep your login details private. Anything that happens through your account is treated as done by you, so tell us quickly if you think someone else has access.
3. What Livu Actually Is
Livu connects you with other real people for live random video chat and private one-to-one conversations, matched in seconds from a community spanning more than 180 countries. The how it works page explains the flow if you want the step-by-step version.
Two things are worth being direct about. First, features evolve: we may add, change, or retire parts of the service, and no feature is guaranteed to exist forever or work without interruption — live video depends on networks, devices, and other people being online. Second, Livu makes the introduction. We do not verify every user's identity, endorse anyone, or sit inside your conversations.
4. Livu Coins and Payments
New users receive a limited allowance of free matches each day. That allowance is genuinely limited, may change over time, and is not a promise of unlimited free use. Beyond it, livu coins keep conversations and premium features going, and VIP packages bundle extra benefits for a set period.
Prices, package contents, and renewal terms are always shown inside the product before you pay — that in-app display is what governs your purchase, which is why this page deliberately does not fix numbers in text that would go stale.
- Coins and virtual gifts are a licence to use features inside Livu — not money, not a deposit, not transferable off the platform, and with no cash value.
- Completed purchases of digital goods or consumed services are generally non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or the purchase page says so.
- Payments are handled by third-party processors; we do not store your full card details.
- Fraud, chargebacks, or payment abuse can lead to cancelled orders, feature limits, or account suspension.
5. Playing Fair on Video Chat
The conduct rules live in the Community Guidelines, and they are part of this agreement, not an optional extra. The short list of what is never acceptable on Livu:
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or pressuring anyone who has said no or skipped you
- Nudity or sexual content in public matching, and any sexual content involving a minor anywhere — reported to the authorities
- Recording, screenshotting, or republishing another user's video or messages without permission
- Scams, begging for money or gift cards, phishing, or asking for passwords and verification codes
- Impersonating another person or Livu staff
- Bots, scrapers, automation, or attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service
6. Your Content and Your Camera
You keep ownership of what you create on Livu. By showing or posting content, you grant us the licence we need to host, transmit, display, and moderate it so the service can run.
Remember what a live camera means: whoever you match with can see what you show, and anything visible can be captured by means outside our control. Only share what you would be comfortable existing beyond that one conversation. If you are unsure what to keep private, the safety tips are worth five minutes before your first call.
7. Third-Party Services
Livu relies on outside providers for things like payment processing, analytics, hosting, and customer support tooling, and the app may link to sites we do not operate. Those services run under their own terms and privacy practices, which we do not control; a link is not an endorsement.
8. Intellectual Property
The Livu name, brand, design, and the software behind the service belong to Livu and its licensors. These terms give you a personal, revocable licence to use the app — not to copy it, resell it, scrape it, or build something on top of it without permission.
9. Suspension and Termination
Breaking these terms or the Community Guidelines can lead to a warning, feature limits, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban, depending on what our moderation review finds. Serious violations — above all anything involving minors — are escalated to the relevant authorities. Unused coins are generally not refunded when an account is removed for a violation. You may also stop using Livu at any time, for any reason.
10. Disclaimers and Limits of Liability
Livu is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep it fast and safe, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, any particular match, or any particular outcome from a conversation.
We are not responsible for what other users say or do, and no platform can remove the risk that comes with meeting strangers online. To the maximum extent the law permits, Livu is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Livu service is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where your local consumer protection law gives you rights that cannot be waived, those rights stay intact.
12. Changes to These Terms
As the product evolves, so will this page. When a change is material, we will make a reasonable effort to make it visible, and the "last updated" date above will move. Continuing to use Livu after an update means accepting the new terms.
